Building Foundations, Nurturing Hearts: Elementary School at Northwood Temple Academy
A Foundation for a Lifetime of Learning
Northwood Temple Academy is committed to laying the necessary foundation for a lifetime of learning. Here's what sets our elementary school program apart:
Christ-Centered Education: Every aspect of our curriculum is designed to glorify God. Faith-based texts are used for reading, English, math, history, penmanship, and science.
Holistic Curriculum: In addition to core subjects, our curriculum includes Bible studies, foreign languages, art, music, physical education, and technology. This holistic approach ensures a well-rounded education.
Small Class Sizes: With small class sizes, we provide an ideal learning environment where students receive personalized attention and encouragement.
Supportive Faculty: Our committed faculty fosters healthy competition and school spirit, contributing to a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Hands-On Activities: From hands-on activities to chapel services, recess, community service, and field trips, we strive to develop well-rounded students.
Partnering with Families
At Northwood Temple Academy, we believe in the importance of partnering with families to create a supportive and enriching educational experience for your child. Together, we aim to nurture their intellectual curiosity, spiritual growth, and character development.
Thank you for considering Northwood Temple Academy as your partner in shaping the foundation for your child's educational journey. May God bless us as we work together this year!

Message from Mrs. Jennifer Harshberger, Elementary Assistant Principal
Dear Parents,
Greetings! My name is Mrs. Jennifer Harshberger and it is with great joy and gratitude that I serve as the Elementary Assistant Principal at Northwood Temple Academy. For the past 26 years, God has graciously allowed me to be part of this incredible school family, and it continues to be one of my greatest blessings and callings.
My journey in education is rooted in a deep love for children and a desire to see each one grow academically, socially, and spiritually. I hold a background in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Elementary Education, which has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of learners. From helping our youngest students build foundational skills, to supporting children with unique learning needs, to guiding elementary students toward independence and leadership, I am passionate about nurturing the whole child.
As Assistant Principal, I am committed to supporting our teachers, encouraging our students, and serving our families with integrity, compassion, and consistency. I believe every child is uniquely created by God with purpose and potential, and it is a privilege to help guide them during these formative elementary years.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. It is an honor to serve alongside our dedicated faculty and staff as we continue the mission of Christ-centered education at Northwood Temple Academy.
